RI-04: The Life Cycle of a Claim
Claims are the acid test for the effectiveness of an insurance policy. Although credit insurance brings several ancillary benefits such as improved financing, higher sales and vital credit/business information, the most important aspect is that the insurance respond when a bad debt occurs.
In this module we shall examine the life cycle of a claim in 7 Stages.

How this course works
This course consists of chapters, chapter modules and a quiz at the end of the course. In order to advance through the course you are required to complete each chapter as a unit. In the Course Content chart below you can see the chapters in this course and the progress status for each.
As you work our way through each chapter you can mark each chapter module as complete. Your progress through each module will be indicated by the green bar at the top of the page. Once all modules within the course are complete you will be able to access the final quiz by clicking the “back to course” link at the bottom of the page.
Your overall progress through the course is shown as a green bar on the course home page. You can access this page in two ways: by clicking on the linked text in the progress bar; or by clicking the “back to course” link at the bottom of each main chapter page.
It is not necessary to complete the course in one sitting. You may log in at anytime to complete the course components.
When you have completed the course chapters and the quiz with a pass rate 80% or greater you can download your certificate of completion by clicking the button at the top of this page. Those who require a certificate for Quebec should send;

- Number of Course (e.g. RI-01)
- Date Course completed
- and your Quebec AMF certificate number
